- Want to teach your kids about earning and giving? Team Kids is inviting kids and families to host a LemonAid stand in honor of Martin Luther King Day. Proceeds from stands go to the United Way of Orange County...or you can split your proceeds between United Way of Orange County and Oak Creek PTA, benefiting your own elementary school! - Congratulations to Anika Parekh! Anika's film entry in the fall's National PTA's Reflections Contest entitled “Hello” will be screened at the Irvine International Film Festival on January 14th at 10:30 am at Edwards Westpark 8 Cinema. Details can be found on the IIFF's website.

- Parents Appreciating Teachers & Staff (PATS) Now thru March 2, 2012
Through IPSF's PATS program, parents and community members have an opportunity to recognize the contribution of IUSD staff members who make a difference in their child’s life, or their own. Tax deductible contributions benefit IUSD classrooms through the Innovative Teaching Award Program (ITAP), which provides grants to IUSD teachers. To thank the special teachers or staff members who make a difference to you and your student, download the PATS form today. Forms and donations are due by March 2, 2012.
