Yearbooks will be distributed to students on Monday, June 5th. If you did not pre-order a yearbook, we will have a limited number of copies for sale after school next to the flagpole:

Also, come hear a special guest speaker, Kara Rydman, IUSD’s GATE Coordinator, who will discuss how to teach our kids to have a “Growth Mindset.”

Each student should write a note of thanks or draw a picture and bring it to his/her teacher and classroom aide(s) on Monday.
- Also on Monday, it’s Supply Day! Help your teacher stock up on much needed classroom supplies by having your child donate an item. *All supply donations are voluntary.
- Your room parent will make a sign for the teacher’s classroom door.
- PTA will provide breakfast for the entire Oak Creek staff. If you’d like to help with the breakfast you may contact: Coco at email@example.com

Students will work with their teachers to prepare special ways to honor Oak Creek staff all week with signs, notes, and artwork at school. You can also send in special notes of thanks to any staff member.

The Oak Creek PTA helps sponsor district wide Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week was a huge success this year and our Wise Owls had fun learning how to ,“respect themselves, make good choices and remain drug free.”
To kick off the week, the student council and volunteers decked our campus in red ribbons and posters! With Oak Creek spirit, our students signed cards pledging to lead healthy and helpful lives and also accepted a challenge to do acts of kindness for others.
Our school collected a total of 447 pounds of “pennies for prevention” – benefiting the Irvine Prevention Coalition – with Mrs, King’s and Ms. Lee’s classes bringing in the most!
With all of your generous support, we were able to raise over $45,000! We are well on our way to being able to fund many valuable programs and services for the students of Oak Creek. Click here to see a complete list of what is supported by our fundraising efforts.
